I love cookbooks that begin by saying that we will teach you the basic rules. Then, feel free to experiment. That is what The Dumpling Galaxy Cookbook by Helen You delivers. The first ten pages are the basics of how to make a dumpling. The remaining sections are about the flavors - classic, green, faraway, and dessert. Recipe introductions and tips sprinkled throughout add to the learning. This book packs a lot of knowledge into a relatively small package.
