Always a reader. Writing to remember and to share my thoughts on the books I read.
The conversational tone, illustrations, colors, and comic book format of Cook Korean by Robin Ha make Korean food and unfamiliar ingredients more approachable. Don't let the comic book approach fool you; this is a serious cookbook. It only has about 70 recipes, but packs in a lot of information with personal stories, Korean food history, descriptions, definitions, and, of course, recipes. Having read Robin Ha's stories, I look forward to incorporating her flavors in my cooking.
