Magruder's Curiosity Cabinet
Magruder's Curiosity Cabinet by H. P. Wood creates a rich setting of carnivals and shows on Coney Island in the early 1900s and a dire plot based around an outbreak of the plague. However, it is truly the characters – the Unusuals & the Dozens - who are the heart of the book. The characters make this a memorable story about about friendship, community, and acceptance.
